4r3 U 1337 enuf?
For the benefit of those of you who don’t know what I’m jabbering about, the title is translated as: (Are You leet(elite) enough??). leet talk or 1337 talk has been around for quite some time. I’ve no objections if they are forming a culture of its own. Breaking the rules seems cool (hey, I was once a rebel) and fancy fonts and numbers to replace alphabets is the “in” thing (Though I had the most difficult time trying to read what they typed). And most of these elite communities are tech enthusiast (though now, it incorporates gamers as well) and they are more than happy to share their 1337 ways. That’s the beauty of the internet, free information and thanks to these 1337 people, normal nettizens like me has the chance to pick up a tick or two to stay updated in this ever rapid changing world.
There is however one site that I’d like to point out. Its www.1337tech.org founded by our very bunch of local breeds. In a nutshell, it’s a technology information site. It has lots of guides and articles for noobs. (Kinda make me think why they didn’t name it n00b tech). I couldn’t say for certain that it’s any better that already existing heavy weight Tom’s Hardware because it all depends on what are you looking for. Still new, 1337tech has very simple and clean interface to get around and straight to the source that you are looking for. And because it’s still new and has little advertisements, there’s no long waits for the page to load up. The only complaint that I have is, there’s one particular editor that has an extremely rude way of communicating. Being 1337 don’t mean being rude. I’m sure that Soggie is trying hard to be sarcastic but it’s ain’t working!
Here’s just a small sample of his “work”
Now you n00bies out there, how many hands have you got? Two? Good. How many fingers do you have? Five? You idiot, you have 10! Get your math right you n00b m4gg07s!
You see, on your right hand, you have two fingers on your mouse buttons, and the other three grabbing the poor little creature. You use that to interact with window’s various GUI (That’s graphical user interface for you n00bie, which is basically all those little clickable stuff on screen), and so what happens to your LEFT hand? Well when you’re surfing pron sites maybe that hand will take care of self-satsifaction, but to improve your productivity, that HAND SHOULD BE ON THE KEYBOARD!

Don’t let this rotten apple spoil your visit. Articles from Chewxy and Empire23 are quite helpful in many ways. I especially liked Empire23’s recommendation on RTS (Real Time Strategy) games.
updated:
I’ve talked to Chewxy about Soggie. For the sake of 1337tech, I hope that he edit Soggie’s article and attitude.
