Finally did some tidying up in my pc and blog. Categorize some posts which were not categorized. Removed some post which I find offending. Funny how I was able to write such stuff in the first place. Must be the frustration at that point. I’ve decided to leave the scheme as it is because I liked it, and still liking it.

Finally submitted by form to notify of my graduation to the dean’s office. Was supposed to get everything done on Friday, but ran into complications at the head of department’s office as the boss is not in to give his/her signature. Yea I don’t know who the head of department it. Thought the secretary was kind enough to offer her assistant to have the deputy to give her signature on behalf of the department. I’m quite confident that this semester I can score at least a CGP of 3.4 or above to help push up my CGPA which is still below the 3’s.

I’m now certified a safe driver. Well, not certified safe, but rather a cert for attending Drive Safe Smart Wire (DSSW) defensive driving course. Which I was suppose to blog about this using the title “Certified Safe Driver” unfortunately, I happily forgot about it. Anyway, I’ve written a small briefing in SNC which I’ll just copy paste here in Banana Talk.

I just got back from this 2 days course and I’m very
thankful to Ein who not only manages to get us a super discounted rate of
RM200, but also made Nigel and I Daring Card holders. We also learnt allot
regarding convoy and registration of our club which I’ll explain later as it’s
not as easy as everyone presumes.

Anyway, back to the course. What is it?
It’s a course that teaches you how to drive safely. This is nothing like what
you learn from driving school. Here is where they make you to make mistakes and feel how difficult is it to control the car during emergency. It teaches both preparation during emergency and also a reverse psychology on speeding. This course is divided into two classes which is theory and practical. Theory covers mostly driving ethics and accident prevention as well as a talk on to value life which I find it quite moving. Practical is where the fun is. It teaches the skills on handling the car during emergency situation and not to forget the most important part, cockpit drill which is a very simple and effective lesson on sitting posture and hand coordination for optimal control of the car.

Food is provided (breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea). There’s plenty of food to go around and they tasted MUCH MUCH better and healthier than the mamak at Connaught last TT (18Nov).

I seriously recommend EVERYONE to join. RM200 is dirt cheap compared to non member rates and private classes by other organization. Not to mention food, car, petrol, tires, facilities are all provided by Proton. Yes, Proton is
making a loss out of this, but with a mission, as a social service and responsibility to its consumers (cewah, I sounded like a proton spokes person pulak

Other smaller updates:

“I broke the car and I stole it”

Which is the past tense for “I braked, and stall the car”
well, the past tense of stall is stalled, but he changed it to stole for the
fun of it. Grammatically correct though.

“If I can forget about it, then it’s not important”

Quoted form a dear friend of mine when we were talking about collecting memories like keeping a diary, blog, journal or even a time capsule.
