A little bit of everything
Got some nice shiny alphabets and stuck it at the rear of the car. I was thinking of “Rusty”, my forum name, but after a long lecture about “What’s in a name” and so on by my dad, I’ve then change it to my name instead. After looking at that pic again, i’ve noticed that it’s not exactly straight. Yes, i was kind of impatient to stick it in the middle of the night. Though it was bought in the afternoon at your friendly neighborhood “Brothers” car accessories shop in the afternoon, the scorching hot sun manage to keep me indoors until the earth’s rotation manage to pull KL into the shadows, away from the sun harmful radiation.
On the same contacts of Neo, the Neo community is breaking up, again. I just don’t get it. They had the chance to put Ein else where when they had the chance, during the first committee meeting, instead, they have promoted him to president. Then, when they are not happy about it and voiced it out in the second committee meeting, a deadline was given for him to change which was conveniently set on 3rd March. I guess most of them didn’t know that Ein might not be coming on 3rd March to prove his worth since his work load has doubled. Furthermore, regardless of their promises to let Ein change (if Ein failed, he will be replaced), a mutiny is called out. Can’t they wait two more weeks? There are times where I think that the president position is too heavy for some one who work 12 hour shifts 5 days a week to bear. Especially when Apple is only paying him a mere sum of RM500 monthly. Then again, he might be moon lighting, which could be the source for his exhaustion. Anyhow, the club is cracking up and might cause another possible split, the dot org that most of us was joking about during the first committee meeting. There is the definite anti Ein movement which i think where the bulk of the members lies. Then there’s Ein’s supporter, with me mistakenly chunked into just because i defended for his rights of a 2nd chance till the 3rd March deadline. Whats more interesting is that this internal bickering is within committee members and normal members has little knowledge about it, or maybe none at all. I won’t underestimate their spider sense though.
With 50 pictures upload a month, i feel it’s a waste not uploading anything at all in friendster. So, i’ve decided to add another photo album titles “scenes from work” which will hold random photos of my daily work. On the safe note, or should i bluntly put it, boring, since nothing classified will be posted. Things posted are, general knowledge. And speaking about work, it’s damn boring! 3 days after the CNY break and no one is open yet. all my suppliers are still enjoying their vacation, while i’m at the office changing fused bulb and surfing the web on how to change a bulb. All charged up, but no where to let go of the energy, sigh…

Post CNY report
Although Chinese New Year (CNY) is not officially ended yet, (last day of the Chinese festival celebration ends during Chap Goh Mei this 4th March) I thought that it’ll be nice to pen down (I can’t believe that i’m still stuck with pen and paper lingo)what has happened during CNY.
This year CNY celebration was rather relaxed. We took our time driving down to Malacca on the first day itself where traffic at the Seremban exit was at a stand still as usual. All thanks to this traffic light, barely 500 meters away from the toll booth. Who in the right mind would have a 2 lane trunk road crossing right in front of the toll booth? The road design is more than 30 years old and the good ol’ government is not doing anything to ease traffic congestion at that place. sigh, what to expect of them. And PL still thinks it’s ok to reuse the 10 year old payment scheme for government employees. No wonder corruption at the lower ranks is abundance where police would prey on traffic offenders rather than solving break-ins, snatch theft and other crime that keep piling up on their desk.
okay, back to topic..
So, we checked into Equatorial, just a stone throw from A’Famosa fort. Suppose to be a 5 star hotel. Suppose. The management did a screwed up job under estimating the number of guest that will be dining for their buffet breakfast. And not to mention a special treat, a lion dance performance which was scheduled at 11am only to show up one hour later. The lobby was crowded with guest waiting for the troupe which never turn up until noon, and boy, was the manager sweating bullets when the crowd got bigger and rowdy. Lion dance that just pounces around the lobby no longer interest me, since i was spoiled by awesome acrobatic performance at 1U where the lion dancers jumped from pole to pole defying gravity.
Anyway, it wasn’t an entire bad experience at Equatorial. After all i did quite enjoy watching Singapore channels especially Channel 5 which was showing Amazing Race All Stars, the same time it was aired in The States. C’mon Astro you are 2 weeks behind! and you are loosing to a Singapore public TV station! Shame on Astro. Grr…
Only went to two relatives house to raid collect red packets. Only tow but did collect around RM200 (just enough for Pipercross filter) since my aunt and uncle was having steamboat + BBQ, so almost all the relatives i know off within Malacca was there. Save driving around town. After the meal, it was rather boring since there is nothing much to talk about.
"dah makan belum?"
"dah…" (I just had steamboat, remember??)
"…"
"…"

OMG, No Way!
I like that emoticon, really. I’d run the cursor over it every time i sees it just to listen to it’s hilarious shout “OMG, No Way!”

Another reason to shout out is because this will be the 100th post in this blog. Not much of a shout out compared to other much more active bloggers, though. The picture posted was right before i click the “create new post” button.
So, it’s CNY and i should be celebrating. But that feeling has already diminished a long time ago. I earn more just working than traveling around to relatives place for red packets and not to mention that the so called once in a year CNY dishes can be bought or prepared anytime of the year, and at cheaper price too.
Maybe the only plus thing about CNY is being forced to march to the nearest mall to get new sets of clothes which is customary. Thanks to my last minute behavior, the latest Camel Active sweater of my size was sold out, and i’ve to settle for a RM200 sweater at Marks and Spencer. Same price, but the one bought from M&S looks more geeky. Not that i matter though since i’d be wearing that at home.

Lost Memories
Yesterday I went to remove my old car off the JPJ black list since the used car dealer have finally settled the full payment. While at it, he asked me when was the last timing belt change. The first thing that came to my mind was Tasek Bera trip that i had end 2005, since my car was sent for an engine overhaul during the days i was sleeping with jungle mosquitoes in a bamboo hut. Since i need the workshop receipt to confirm, i automatically searched this blog to look for the Tasek Bera trip (which i thought that i’ve blogged) so that i can narrow my search of the files of old records and receipt.
To my surprise, i didn’t blog about it at all. Something as big as 4days and 3 nights in Tasek Bera, far away from civilization and any mobile phone reception, living there is tough. boredom was the ultimate killer, follow by this black scorpion which manage to creep under the dining table. Good thing that i was on the hammock or else i would have been a goner. anyways, that’s besides the point, the main point is that i’ve missed blogging which i do find odd since during that time, i was at the peak blogging and promoting banana talk.
