Prologue: C714TU
After many months of procrastination, here’s the prologue of the laptop that i’m currently using, the C714TU.

that’s just the basic specification. i had mine upgraded to 2GB (RAM) as you can see from the 3Dmark spec listed below.
3Dmark03 Score
Currently that’s the only version of 3Dmark (lazy to download the latest) that I manage to backup into a CD. So, it’s no surprise that it reads 2 separate CPU and various of other unknowns.
My old rig scored 1440 on 3Dmark03. specs listed as below:
AMD 2500+ (Barton core @ 1800mhz)
1GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce FX5500
I’m not surprised at the score, after all, the C714TU is NOT a gaming laptop although i’m able to run Call of Duty 1 on it without any problems at all at highest settings. mostly it’s because COD 1 is powered by Quake3 engine which isn’t that taxing as compared to current releases which is more graphic intense.
But, when coming to those dull and mundane task such as web surfing, word processing, CAD/CAM, and photoshopping, the C714TU outshines my old AMD rig.
