Bumping this blog

Now where do I begin?

Empty Promises
There’s three reviews scheduled to be published, two of them were scrapped, the Compaq Persario C714TU laptop which i bought on in November, the other is a leather wrapped steering wheel for my neo. Nothing much to talk about the steering wheel other then the feel of skin is always better then plastic, as for the lappie, I lack technical knowhow to write a good review. Other then churning computing figures which I probably won’t understand and pages long technical specification, it’s just another computer, only smaller. The one review left standing, and on the verge to be scrapped is the SSCUS sport semi bucket seat which I had installed in my neo late last year after the bad accident. Will it live to see day light? even I won’t know. But if it does, it’s the longest time I’ve taken to write a review.

So, what’s up 2008?
Kinda late to write about resolutions now, but it’s better late then never. My first resolution for this year is a 6 pack. Yeah, laugh at it while you can, in fact laughing is one way to firm the tummy. Guess no more teh tarik after the sun sets for me.

to kick start this resolution, i need some kind of an objective. something to aim for. a 6 pack can have various definition for different people. but most importantly, i need a score board for myself, something like a yard stick to measure progress. I got the pic above from a place where no one can ever think off. 2chan.

At the moment, i’m at picture no2, (left to right, from top). and it has been like this since the start of the year. My aim is always the highest, no 6 by the end of this year. no 4 is fine too.

On the side note, things are getting real busy everywhere, home, work, and even the club. Busy year ahead.

Track day

Sepang_circuit

Alex manage to get entry tickets to SIC open track day at a rediciously low price of RM125 (normal price RM200(2008) RM150(2007). It’s cheaper then the entry price of last year. 3 hours of fun for just RM125, versus RM175 for 1.5 hours at HPC. Oh, did I mention that HPC is only 1/2 track while SIC open track day is full track?
I was ecstatic, I was overwhelmed, and I am a lousy driver. I spun out twice.

in the pits awaiting my turn

Today
Sent the C714TU for service at HP service center to claim warranty on faulty LAN port and possible RAM change. The technician (Roshan) is very knowledgeable, I hope that what he say comes true, that within 3 working days, my lappie will be ready for collection. No there are no nude pics of me inside.
