Blog Revamped
Blogging may be easy, maintaining them is not. As Banana Talk surpass 150 post, re categorize its previous post is not an easy task. The fist thing that I did was to replace the “weblogs” category since it was improperly used for matters that matters less. Since I cannot rename weblogs because weblogs is a default category which is un-edit-able, I have to go through the trouble of making a new category “something about nothing” and then re-categorize almost half the entries (out of 150), post by post.
Secondly, I’ve added two type list (as called by Friendster Blog). It’s actually links to anywhere I want to link to. The good thing about type list is that i can create many of them, making it as mini categories. I’ve created two type list, one is about blogs that i frequent most, and the other is automotive related sites, regardless forums, blogs, or commercial websites.
The Slow Crawl
For some funny reason, internet connection at home is horrible. Almost comparable to 56k. surprisingly there’s no lag with MSN. I only face horrible connection speed while surfing and downloading via HTTP (port 80). I’ve yet to call Maxis ISP to lash out at them. Maybe i should wait for my temper to flare up before making that call.
