We Are One!
Our relationship has reached its first year last Monday.

spent some time with Sweetheart after work, had dinner at Manhattan Fish Market, not exactly the most romantic place, at least its quiet to have a nice quiet dinner and still be able to have a nice conversation.
Grill platter for one, shared by two. saving our stomach for desert.
Desert
Happy anniversary, darling. love you <3

1/6 Gathering at my place
Yesterday the guys form OneSixthMart came over for potluck. Pictures tells the story. As for the gasmask censorship, it’s OSM tradition keeping their members anonymous. I mean, we are man that play with toys, some of us might feel uneasy about it XD

everyone arrived, segan-segan to be the first to sit at the dining table

food picture taking session, still segan to sit at the dining table

Elton taking picture of the food with my figure

Me inviting them to the dining table

helping ourselves with the food

uncertain which to start with, so many to choose from

Brought out the desert as well, note the blueberry cheese, watermelon and jelly

Mini Turbo - The RM250 SCAM
I bet most of car users have came across all sorts of too-good-to-be-true-fuel-saver-power-optimizer thingamagic in local car mags and especially in the internet forums. What attracts buyers are the ridiculously low relative price to real power adders like race spec 4-1 headers or a piggyback ECU which cost 10 times more then this magical-snake-oil product.
I’ve stumbled upon this, which i think it’s the lowest of the low in all miracle-super-fuel-saving-mod con jobs.

FAQ
1. Where is it installed ?
If installed in your servo brake hose , you will enjoy the benefits of assisting to improve your braking capabilities
If direct to manifold , it will serve purely for performance
2. How does it help my braking system ?
When
installed to your servo hose , mini turbo helps to provide proper
compression for your brakes. The effect is immediate. An excellent
safety feature when there is a need to do an emergency brake.
3. Will it damage the brakes or engine ?
The
unit is actually a diagnostic tool , you will feel your brakes is hard
when you apply pressure , this indicates there is a leak in your brake
system. It is an additional air intake designed to channel enhanced air
flow into your engine. 8 years in the market , there is no reported
side effect besides a enjoying a better driving experience.
4. Why do we need to clean the filter ?
As
it is in essence an additional air intake , anything in ur vehicle that
has a filter would need to be changed or cleaned. Dust and grease may
restrict air flow and reduce the benefits of mini turbo so cleaning the
unit will help restore the unit to its optimum condition.
5. How often do I need to clean it?
You
can clean it during your normal service interval , simply use an air
gun at the workshop or buy a degreaser and spray the filter head and
wipe clean . If you travel to industrial areas , you will need to clean
it more often or you may clean it as and when you prefer when you feel
the car is sluggish .
6. Are you sure you will fully refund if we want it returned within 7 days ? Are there hidden costs ??
Yes
, we are by far the very few of traders who actually practice this .
Why we do it , cos we have no intention of cheating you and its a
matter of credibility and everyone has different expectations of how
they want their car to perform. There are no hidden costs but we will
state the terms when we launch a promotion .
7.If it is so good why don’t manufacturers install it in their car during assembly ?
Every
company has their own policies and every car has a flaw which the after
market industry taps to provide to you a solution to your problem. Mini
turbo is one of the many solutions provided for
8. How well do you fare among other competitors and is the competitor product better or worse ?
It
is our policy not to make comparisons ( unless forced to ) . Each
product is made with their own market in mind and price positioning and
marketing strategies are formulated according to the proprietors.
9. Icecube is making claims your product is spoiling the engine ?
Icecube
is doing so as he was asked to leave and was subsequently banned from
selling all my product and associated products due to his unethical
practices as a trader. He is just a disgruntled person who made a
mistake but does not want to be responsible for his own mistakes and
actions. I have evidence of his misgivings so I have nothing to fear
from his slander. I only feel sorry for those conned by him.
10. Does it void a warranty?
We
cannot tell you if it does or does not as we do not have rights over
the variety of warranties available when you purchase your vehicle.
It is a plug and play device which can easily be removed.
11. Can i install more than one ?
It depends on the vehicle cc . For a myvi 1 unit is more than sufficient .
12. Can I transfer it to another car if I sell my car ?
Yes , you can do so as it is plug and play .
13. How about fuel savings since it is a performance item ?
Fuel
savings has varied results due to engine condition. Usually customers
will call to have their unit serviced / cleaning cos they notice a drop
in fuel savings. Our stock engines are underpowered so installing mini
turbo optimizes your engine combustion hence the benefits of fuel
savings are there. Again , fuel savings have varied results for every
user due to driving style , engine condition , etc etc…
14. People say items like this has short term effect only .
For
mini turbo we rarely get comments like these , from experience this
boils down to maintaining the product . Anything that has an air intake
has to be cleaned , a clogged up filter will leave it redundant and
hence a person would feel the lose in benefits from the product they
purchase. Our customers can tell when the lose FC benefits and come
back to us to have it cleaned. Problem solved. If you ask anyone who
has installed a similar product , 9 out of 10 buyers don clean it or
were not informed the product needs to be cleaned.
15. ECU adapts to the additional air intake making the product redundant.
So
… whats the problem here ? If this was true … all u need to do is
reset the ECU 6months down the road , which is a small task for the
benefits you enjoy
16) Its a performance item , will it make my FC worse??
Not
at all , your stock engine is underpowered , adding mini turbo gives
you the power u need which equated back to FC savings as u wont feel
the car sluggish anymore

The above quote taken from HERE
Similar sites HERE and HERE as well.
I was all like, WTF!!! RM250 for a pneumatic exhaust mufflers, brass T joint, a couple of ring clips and barely a foot long of reinforced rubber vacuum hose! These all can be obtained for far less then RM25 from local hardware shop. Nearing RM50 if you insist in getting the best pneumatic exhaust mufflers form Festo. Plus, not to mention this so called turbo doesn’t have air regulators like other similar intake bleeders.
For the benefit of my readers who don’t know how a pneumatic exhaust muffler looks like, please click HERE Such an item can be bought for RM5 (China made). It’s nothing more then perforated brass tube with locking threads.
Air bleeders only work in carburetor engines, NEVER in direct fuel injection engines. Especially when this particular device requires it to be installed at brake servo hose. I’m not sure of their intentions, but bleeding air into the brake lines is asking for trouble as air bubbles in the brake lines will cause imminent brake failure.
A long reading list why such thingamagic NEVER works

That Thing On The Right
I’ve mentioned about a mini revamp on the blog a couple months ago which i never went into detail. so, since i still have good internet connection and an hour to go before bed time, I’ll take the opportunity elaborate my over elaborated sidebar for a regular friendster blog.
skip the featured articles, calender, album, recent comments, photo album, categories, and archives. you’ll reach blogroll. blogroll is none other then links to other blogs which i have interest in.
I’ve listed my siblings blog in here. odd isn’t it? we are already living under the same roof (except for Wai Leng who got married last month). it’s always interesting to see what my younger sister or brother thinks. what interest them. what makes them write.
Then there are also blogs of my friends. Though i do have to admit that a great portion of them rarely update their blog. The only blog that i frequent most right now is Jenni’s which is constantly updated and something arousingly interesting with her lifestyle and her chosen topics for her blog. In fact i don’t think there’s any topic for discussion. It’s all see-what-i-see-feel-what-i-feel content. and yet, it’s interesting.
The sore thumb on that list is the Australian blog that generated quite a hate crowd from proton fanboys. I have it listed so that I can constantly check it for any progress or should i say decline in the mentality of proton fanboys. It’s already a month since the last person made comment on that blog. i guess fanboys do wire up in the end and let the whole charade ends, or probably got bored when Craig did not bite on their flame bait.
Moving down the type list are links to website pertaining to the Malaysian political scene. As you can see, its content are heavily biased against BN or at least against Pak Lah lead administration. If i want pro government news, all i need to do is to visit the news stand for a copy of the News Straits Times. Of all the political blogs listed, i prefer RPK’s writing the best. He’s not over zealously against BN or Pak Lah for no good reason. There are occasions he fired DAP for their trivial songkok-o-phobia.
Being a piston head, I have my favorite automotive sites listed as well with custom made banner to link the their respective sites. The best site is none other then Autoblog. There’s so much news being updated daily, really reflecting the multi billion automotive industry which keeps the world running. For localized news, it’s Paul Tan’s blog. Isn’t always the latest and at times he takes news from Autoblog, but when coming to local automotive content, paultan.org the first place to look.
Since i am a member of satrianeoclub.com.my it is compulsory to have a link.
Lastly, it’s daily comics from Explosm.net as i live with the motto, laughter is the best medicine. The sneak peak png file was not updated for a dreadfully long time. Personally, i think that particular joke will never go old. The guy literally fucked the exam, how can it not be funny? XD
With so many things listed on the side bar, it serves only one thing, for my surfing convenience for I have set my blog as start up page every time i launches firefox
